Company Culture? Several "good ol boys" who have been with the company for a number of years all stick together and feed management a bunch of lies
Support from management
Primary focus of management is loading their own pockets and not fostering a positive environment for staff.
Teamwork does not exist here. Each person has their own agenda and no one works toward a common goal.
Poor communication. Concerns fall on deaf ears and are swept under the carpet rapidly.
Overall compensation for your work
They treat you like garbage, but they do pay pretty well and provide good insurance benefits. It is a small perk of the working there.
No such thing as job security here, too many people trying to undermine one another in an effort to propel themselves to the top of the food chain. Management believes what senior employees tell them and base decisions on that. ADG does not even have a HR department. The controller and the finance department act as HR and nothing is held confidential. HR documents pertaining to an active harassment investigation actually came up "missing" while I was there. A senior employee was the subject of the investigation. hmmmm go figure?
Challenging is an understatement. If you enjoy working with antique equipment and having no time to complete a project, then you might be up for the ADG challenge.
What I like about the company
The most attractive thing at ADG is the compensation and benefit package. Aside from that, this company has little to offer anyone looking for advancement.
What I dislike about the company
There are far too many things to list regarding things that I dislike about ADG. In short, the company is privately owned. The owners and executives are concerned only with themselves and making enough money to purchase new homes, boats, and vehicles. There are several long term "good ol boys" who feed management lies and keep a tight circle to protect themselves and the under handed dealings that they are involved with on the daily, things such as sexual harassment, theft, threats of physical violence etc... There is no HR department to handle and issues. The controller and the accounting department double as HR and employee concerns are usually resolved by dismissing the employee with the concern, it just works easier for them this way. Corrupt. Stay away.
