Husband and wife management team
Support from management
It is nonexistent
The regional managers wife is the service manager and site manager. It’s an obvious and laughable conflict of interest.
Freedom to work independently
You’ll have no other choice
Do not speak up on any issues. “It is what is, if you don’t like it quit” is a popular phrase.
I didn’t see this to be an issue
Husband and wife occupy all decent paying positions
Overall compensation for your work
Bust your butt and hope the other involved parties do their part to ensure the parts are ordered and completed equipment is delivered or you will not get the bonus your performance is supposed to be.
Leave the stress at work
Giants in the industry, Long time monopoly in the area.
They will threaten your job. And the noncompete clause will keep you from being able to work anywhere else in the country doing similar work.
You should be technically strong in all aspects of electrical, refrigeration, automotive and small engine.
Inclusive / Diverse
It’s not hard to tell if you look at the current staff
Suggestions for improvement
- Get an experienced, non biased, non family member to run the services department who’s pay is based on efficiency and effectiveness in providing the service department tools, parts, safety and proper communication with customers to ensure that the service technician will be paid fairly.
What I like about the company
The customers are great and the wide range of equipment to be serviced is a real challenge for even the most experienced techs.
What I dislike about the company
Your concerns will not be considered by anyone locally or at corporate.
