The atmosphere, in truth, was pretty tense as most of the counselors resented the company, and sometimes the supervisors as well.
Support from Management
Often caused tensions to worsen with kids that were already upset. Decisions often seemed nonsensical. Higher ups were there for the money, not the kids.
Colleagues had to work together constantly as the program is understaffed.
