Had little say in the structure of the work. Was told what to do and had to do it that way no matter what. Not allowed to have freedom of thought or opinion.
Communication was a one way street, from the top down. Management didn't want opinions from the lower managers.
The Mexican workers were treated with very little respect. Overtime was not decided until 10 minutes before the shift was over. They were expected to comply with these last minute decisions without complaining.
