It's not the first line supervisor that's the issue, it's upper level leadership that have little or no true concern for employee well being.
Suggestions for improvement
I like about the employer
It was a guaranteed 40 hour work week. Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays.
I dislike about the employer
The Professional Education Center, experiences change over in Leadership every two years, so for 2 years you may have excellent leadership and then the next 2 years, you are stuck with terrible leadership. I experienced more bad leadership in my 5 years there than good. Unless you are Active Guard or a former Guardsmen now working in a civilian capacity, working conditions seem be to a little tougher, as in you're shown less respect. As you don't know the Guard way!
