Gives the APPEARANCE of a good culture but has many underlying issues of discrimination, retaliation, and underhanded practices by top executives/managers.
Support from management
Management provides no support to employees. Many employees operate on "pins and needles." HR has a history of corruption and supporting discriminatory behavior of upper management.
Employees are very dedicated and work very hard.
Freedom to work independently
Depends on supervisor.
Office / Work Environment
Very small, non-private cubicle. Open layout.
False sense of work-life balance. Telecommute option is great, however agency is full of unrealistic work demands. Many employees are doing more than one job and have to sacrifice many nights and weekends meeting unrealistic deadlines.
Company is well respected in the industry and has a great image. This is a direct reflection of the dedication and stellar work of its employees.
Very little job security. Employee turnover rate is high. No consistent process for addressing performance concerns...lots of accounts of employees not informed of performance concerns and placed on performance plans at first mention of concern. HR provides no support to employees with grievances and solely supports management. Make a good friend with your manager and you may have job security.
Handicapped employees have complained about the lack of accessibility.
Inclusive / Diverse
Diverse staff with a very non-diverse upper management staff.
