Very hierarchical. Long-time director staff stereotypes administrative staff. Newer director staff treats admins nicely.
Women director staff are treated as equals. But women admin staff are treated as less than equal.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Senior colleagues are valued for their wisdom and experience. It is, however, those same "wise" director staffers who have created the hierarchical culture.
No real personal development opportunities.
Inclusive / Diverse
Diverse ideas and opinions are supported as long as they are on the liberal side.
Suggestions for improvement
- The smaller office makes it all the more critical that all employees are treated equally regarding disabilities and work flexibility.
What I like about the company
Staff used to get along until director staff were given flexibilities not offered to admin staff.
What I dislike about the company
Toxic environment created by hierarchy. Was very good to director staff with disabilities but refused accommodations to admin staff with disabilities.
