Suggestions for improvement
- Address workplace bullying. promoting people up and out of departments is not an appropriate way of dealing with such issues as harassment and bullying. Rely less on contract employees but treat them less like second-class citizens.
What I like about the company
I enjoy the work environment and the projects. The week off between Christmas and New year's is always appreciated.
What I dislike about the company
There is little work-life balance even though they promote that. 80 hour work weeks are not uncommon. Bullying in the workplace is common and is not addressed causing many people to separate from the company. There are many silos and process improvements can be very challenging to getting your job done. In many cases collaborating with other department so individuals can be seen as detrimental to a particular manager's function and can be perceived as undermining that managers authority
