The culture of the company is very diverse and overall not welcoming everyone has their clicks and make contractors feel like they are not contributing to the company equally as an permanent employee
Supervisor had 1:1 with me every week only to not communicate to me that I was not being extended I received a call on Friday evening at 5PM. Very unprofessional. Upper Management was rude and harsh never even said good morning in most cases unless forces to respond.
Overall compensation for your work
I was not compensate well enough for the level and scope of work that I was doing.
Office / Work Environment
The environment was tense and brow beating. If you made an error it turned into a large production.
Not a good image from a departmental standpoint
Job security was non existant. I was a contractor and I was told in no uncertain terms that I should stay in my place.
Inclusive / Diverse
I was not included in any diverse activities they has clicks and I was not a part of that entity
Suggestions for improvement
- Management needs to interact closely with Support Staff. Ask for feedback and incorporate some of their ideas in helping the department grow.
What I like about the company
The diversity in culture and one of the best cafeterias I have seen in a while.
What I dislike about the company
Management disrespect of contractors. Allowance of subordinates to train you when they have no knowledge, skills and ability.
