The pay is very low for the emotional and physical toll. The administration at the time was difficult to work with.
The emotional, physical, and mental toll was extreme.
Suggestions for improvement
- Smaller class sizes, permanent substitutes, more safety training, more support from the medical team, update facilities/technology, a stronger push on therapy.
What I like about the company
Some of the coworkers were very experienced and caring. I learned so much from working there. It was relatively easy to get a job there.
What I dislike about the company
The amount of breaks and overwork. The risk of injury and the lack of employees. When someone was out, there was no one to cover. We were frequently understaffed. They were not completely fair with substitute pay.
