Management dictates, and does not listen to employee concerns. You are treated as lazy if you don't do overtime or come in on off days. Poor processes and planning leads to underproduction, and the employees are blamed for it.
Support from management
Management does not care about the day to day issues.
The individual lines work well together, but not with management.
Freedom to work independently
Badly micromanaged at times.
Communication goes down the line but not back up it.
Equal amounts men and women
It's a dead end unless you play the political game correctly.
Overall compensation for your work
Pay is better than minimum, but the work is more than the pay for sure.
Mandatory OT constantly, it eats up your days.
If you're a good worker, you will leave before you're fired.
The work is easy to moderately difficult.
Suggestions for improvement
- Clean out the management team and get in someone who knows what they're doing.
