What I like

Snacks.

What I dislike

There was never a day where people weren't talking poorly about others. People talk poorly about the CMO and middle-management but then smile to them. Coworkers work nicely together but talk poorly about them when they're not around.

Suggestions for improvement

Better security. Better compensation. A CMO who works ON-SITE and makes decisions based on merit.

Company Culture

Two tiers of employees: consultants and management services. MS are constantly looking over their shoulders and sniping because of unclear security and promotion schedules.

Company Image

Even people in Chicago have never heard of this company.

Work-Life Balance

People are expected in by 830 and leave office at 530

Career Development

Promotion is rare and unclear.

Overall compensation for your work

Very low compensation. All competitors offer better compensation.

Inclusive / Diverse

In theory it's inclusive, but it's mostly white and male (on the consultant side).

Teamwork

Day to day work is mostly OK.

Attitude towards older colleagues

The average age in marketing is in the low 20s.

Support from management

The CMO is remote and rarely makes appearances in office. The middle management has been promoted from within based on loyalty, not merit. It's never clear who is pulling the strings nor why.

Office / Work Environment

Good snacks.

Challenging Work

It is challenging to work without resources and support.

Job Security

Employment decisions are made on personal opinion and available resources. Good work is not rewarded. Your job is never guaranteed.

Internal Communication

Decisions are made in secret and sent out in mass announcements.

Gender Equality

MS is female-centric, consultants not.

Freedom to work independently

Follow the rules and you'll be ok.

Handicapped Accessibility

Environmental Friendliness

Workplace Safety

I am a seasoned employee of this company. They are usually fair and a pretty good company to work for.

What I like

Several people have longevity with the firm. Its a good company to work for.

What I dislike

I believe there should be a wider range of diversity. More higher level minority races and women.

Suggestions for improvement

i believe there should be transparency in the firm. they attempt to have transparency but its not really as open and forthcoming as it should be
