Honestly, no, but there were a handful of employees who never minded giving me a hand when I needed it, no matter how many times I asked questions, their door was always open.
Freedom to work independently
Once you get the hang of your job, yes you are trusted to work independently.
I did receive all the information required and necessary when I got hired. I was informed about all mentioned above.
THERE IS NO RECYCLING PROGRAM IN PLACE, and the amount of paper used a day is ridiculously high. It really would bother me.
My experience was when I was hired, my family was taken into consideration fully. I explained and they demonstrated at that time that they understood. As time continued to pass though, all of that changed.
NO and NO.
The work is challenging because there is no training really. The individual who trained me did an OK job and it was only for half of the day. We went over the basics, but there is SO much to learn and always SO much work to do. If you don't know anything about engineering jargon or wordplay, you'll have a hard time unless you're just a fast learner. Once you get the hang of it, nothing really challenging, just a busy business with a LOT of work to get done. Making lists and taking notes is VERY important, also having and utilizing a desk calendar.
