Culture is very petty and political. Not many good leaders and with AT&T always cutting compensation and surplussing, moral is typically low.
Support from Management
management does none of this.
There are systems set in place to help guide and develop you, however getting management in board with aiding you always proves fruitless.
Overall Compensation for your work
The company doesn't realize just how much they ask a rsc to do. Every month there is a new focus added, or a new requirement, and yet our pay continues to deminish. The company has even found ways that on months with higher traffic and sales, they still pay us the same as on months with low traffic. So in sales, how does our comp plan motivate us to work harder or to want to help more customers? The goals are already unrealistic.
