Suggestions for improvement
- Mid management staff (regional and market directors) should listen more thoroughly to staff when they talk about the happenings at their store. Certain upper management in my experience are so hard set in their previous ways, that they are too quick to shut ones thoughts down rather than listen to understand. District managers should also fully know and understand the day to day life of reps and managers. When they don’t, it’s hard for their teams to respect them as they’re continually told “I don’t know”, or given wrong information entirely.
What I like about the company
They are very charitable and really care about their employees overall. We donate to multiple foundations per year and are able to see the wonderful work done by employees in their local communities. Company offers paid exotic trip for top 10% of sales team and support center team.
What I dislike about the company
Their loyalty to the ones loyal to them. The recent compensation plan change financially crippled some of the management staff. Also with the new change, there is no incentive for longterm careers. For a company that constantly talks about wanting their employees to turn what was once thought of as a job into a career, there should be pay incentives to those who hit certain milestones in their tenure.
