AT&T experience report

  • 02.Nov 2017
  • Employee

A good place to work with a company in transition of adopting industry standards.

3.35

Company Culture

overall a very professional culture, but seems to be missing some employee care aspects.

Freedom to work independently

The applications that i have worked for were big ones and allowed for very little independent work. lately there has been adoption of microservices architecture and it might provide more independence for developers.

Work-Life Balance

The adoption of best practices for IT management is slow and a lot of times people have to work off hours and weekends.

Suggestions for improvement

  • IT team needs to hire more direct resources rather than per need contractors.

What I like about the company

Stability in the job for full time emloyees

What I dislike about the company

slow moving IT standards
