Support from management
Conflicts were minimal, supervisor was fair.
Good teamwork for the most part
Freedom to work independently
Did have to speak up for work load to be distributed fairly
Did have meetings to address changes, etc.
The doctor did do a great deal of training me herself. I learned a lot from her.
Overall compensation for your work
I feel the pay was low compared to the amount and difficulty of the job. Healthcare/vision benefits were offered, however, very expensive. No life, or retirement plan offered.
Office / Work Environment
Paper charting, not EMR based charts, which made things easier and more difficult at times.
Difficult hours, sometimes wouldn't get home to my kids until late in the evening. Had to stay late several days, wasn't given too many options as to staying late.
Witnessed alot of bitterness between certain staff members.
I was completely shocked when I was informed I would have to be replaced when my child was critically injured and needed temporary around the clock care. No FMLA offered since the practice is small.
Definitely a safe and clean facility. The staff is properly trained and follows all necessary standards and procedures.
The doctor was a bit challenging to work with, often felt ridiculed.
Inclusive / Diverse
Didn't really feel like my opinion mattered
The following benefits were offered to me
