I was older when I was hired and was treated far differently than younger sales executives while I was one of the top sales executives.
Suggestions for improvement
- Hire "seasoned" sales professionals rather than those right out of college. The atmosphere was for the 20 somethings and for those of us that have years of successful experience, the atmosphere was a bit juvenile at best. When selling to the "C" level, I feel they are better served by a more seasoned level of sales force rather than the fresh out of college crowd. It was not a good fit for a sales executive in their early 30's...
