Benefits

Be Well, Professionally Engaged, and Financially Fit With Our Benefits Package

Comprehensive and competitive, our many benefits serve to shape and complement the lives of our employees. The current selection for eligible employees includes:

Health Coverage for Medical, Dental, and Vision: These most sought-after benefits are offered through various plan options and are available to you and your eligible dependents.

401(k) Retirement Savings Plan: Planning for retirement is always a smart move, and we provide a valuable tool to help you save for the future through our tax-deferred 401(k) plan with a company match.

Pension Plan: Another way to help ensure a financially healthy future is our pension plan, provided and funded entirely by our organization. This traditional plan is fast becoming a rarity, but we know its value and offer it as a way to help you prepare for retirement. We offer a 401(k) and a pension in all of our regions, with the exception of our East Central Region, where we provide an enhanced 401(k).

Flexible Spending Accounts: Health care and dependent care spending accounts allow you to set aside pre-tax money to cover IRS-approved expenses. This gives employees the opportunity to save and budget expenses at the same time.

Health Savings Account: If you’re enrolled in a high-deductible health plan, this account lets you set aside pre-tax money for today’s health as well as future expenses through retirement.

Life Insurance: Basic life insurance, provided at no cost to eligible employees, offers peace of mind and reassurance that your loved ones’ futures are protected.

Disability Coverage: We acknowledge that sometimes life takes unexpected turns, so disability coverage is available to you. Healthy team members are key to our business, and this is one way we can support them and their efforts to get well.

Employee Assistance Program: This confidential service is available to assist you and any family members in solving personal problems, such as marital, family, or emotional conflicts; alcoholism; drug abuse; legal or financial difficulties; and work/life balance.

Paid Time Off: We believe that having time to relax away from the office is a crucial part of work/life balance. You’ll begin accruing vacation days immediately upon beginning work. In addition, we provide holiday and illness days, giving you the opportunity for recuperation when you need it.

Career Development and Professional Training: We encourage our employees and managers to enroll in career-enhancing courses through our in-house training options. We have instructor-led courses, virtual classes that you can take right from your desktop, and a library of recorded courses. We are proud of our leadership development program and our solid history of promoting from within.

Employee Discounts: Eligible and qualifying employees may receive discounts on AAA membership, vacations, auto insurance, and other products. We also partner with vendors that offer discounted tickets to amusement parks, movie theaters, and sporting events. Additionally, special vehicle pricing is available to you with selected dealers. Many retailers and restaurants also extend discounts to employees.

Ride-sharing: Doing our part to help ease the commute dilemma, we offer monetary incentives for carpooling, walking, or biking to work if you work at a designated facility.

What we offer

What is special about working for us?

What else should applicants know about us?

At AAA, we love being active in our community. We organize events that promote safety on the roads, and hold donation drives that benefit those in need. Here are the organizations we assist, and how we help the community.

United Way

One of the many ways AAA gives back to the community is through our long-term commitment to United Way. We hold annual giving campaigns that help fund local reading programs for children, financial literacy classes for adults, food distribution programs for seniors, and rapid rehousing for homeless families. And employees at all of our campuses contribute throughout the year to donation drives for holiday toys, school supplies, and professional clothing.

Red Cross

We support the American Red Cross by holding employee blood drives and donation drives for communities impacted by severe weather and natural disasters.

Community Safety Programs

AAA’s history is deeply rooted in promoting community safety, with programs including DUI awareness and prevention summits, car seat safety events, teen safety and education programs, senior mobility programs, and our holiday Tipsy Tow program.
