Maybe it's just the kind of business, but fairness and trust does not seem to be too important.

For the most part, with exception of a few in management, they are highly lacking in interpersonal skills. Embarrassment & yelling at workers should never be part of the daily routine.
Many times the rules of engagement are changed often. Most importantly, especially for newbies at the time I was hired, there was no real training guides. Basically you were just directed to go do a task without any guidance. And if you ask to many questions, they insulted you.
