Overall organization is ok
Support from management
Unrealistic goals, zero management backup.
It's sales, every man/woman for themselves with management encouraging it.
Freedom to work independently
Since management does not engage with the sales force, you are essentially on your own.
Terrible communication. Never a pat on the back for a good job, but lord help you if you make a mistake.
If you are friends with upper management or related, you will move in the company.
Overall compensation for your work
The compensation used to be fair, but management quashed that with repeated fixes to the pay scale.
Office / Work Environment
The work environment is good. New building but lousy placement of product.
There is a recycling program there that no one uses and is not encouraged to use. Terrible points for this.
You will work when told which includes almost all weekend days. Zero social or family life if you want to make a living.
You are expendable. Believe me.
The challenge is management. If they would interact with their employees and get feedback, it would be a top dealer.
Suggestions for improvement
- Pay attention to your sales people. They know the customers. Make your lot presentable instead of the jumbled mess it is.
What I like about the company
This was a great dealership destroyed by the manipulation of pay. It would be and could have been a top dealership both for employee and employer.
What I dislike about the company
Management. It does not pay attention to detail. Product placement is terrible, teaching the product is worse and followup is non existent.
