The company is smaller and has a team of people that for the most part get along and value each other. I disagree with previous reviews as the culture is fun and collaborative - if you make an effort, it is reciprocated as a number of the staff are friends. The company specializes in beverage alcohol with a cool list of clients which is rare for an agency located where it is. No company is perfect and while there are flaws, management is approachable and within reach. Those that work hard get recognized, and there is an opportunity to learn a lot and move up.
The company has a lot of great employees that work hard. While the pace is fast and can be stressful at times, I think that the teams work well together to get things done.
Freedom to work independently
Again, if you work hard and prove yourself, you are given the freedom to manage your business and clients. Being a small company, management does get involved in all business related matters.
Overall compensation for your work
Compensation is fair based on experience.
I have had a positive experience and believe that if you work hard and prove that you can get your work done, there is flexibility and trust. I have been told by management that “family comes first” and believe that the company values the balance.
Long standing clients contribute to an overall positive company image within the industry, proven by a high number of referrals in a niche business.
On sites like this and Glassdoor, I feel that the company is misrepresented. People tend to only review things when it is negative. There is room for improvement and change, but some of the comments below stem from one or two employees that had a negative, miserable mindset and attitude at work.
For those who enjoy Marketing, there is challenging work that involves brainstorming and preparing programming plans for larger brands. The work is interesting and inspires creativity. Some of the more process-oriented roles may feel differently, but the company is growing its digital portfolio which offers challenges as well.
What I like about the company
The company has expertise in a niche area which provides opportunities with major companies - the actual work is and clients are cool. Due to being a smaller company, a lot of people are close and it makes for a fun, friendly environment.
What I dislike about the company
It is challenging to replace good talent when people move on - the nature of most agencies in the industry is that it employs a lot of younger staff. Because of this there can be turnover which makes it stressful when workload is heavy and additional support is needed.
