clients found with bedbugs, lice... Employees still had to work on patients as bugs were jumping off clients. Management was not concerned until a week later when employees were making a fuse over it. anagement was not concerned for employees or their families.

Management only cares about how many people you can see a day it doesn't care about how well you can help the people

There is no communication it is only one person's (in managements) way or no way. Even the CEO has no say

Building new office and managment does not want to make it handicap accessible due to it cost $500-600 for the door!

Challenging Work

Work is only challenging due to little or no time for patient care.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Listen to your employees and take their suggestions. Soon they stop suggesting and it becomes a job that they hate going to. It reflects in how they react to patients and it reflects in their work. To make employees rush through their job so you can put another notch in the encounter slot eventually becomes a down fall for the company. It has happened before with this same place under other management. We were luck when the last CEO took over. No one so far has been able to fill those shoes. People like the feeling of power and unfortunately it ruins things that were meant to be for the good.
  • Management needs to listen to the employees and take to heart what they say and suggest. Making decisions at a split moment without any input from them is very damaging. They all have lives outside of work, they have children and daycare that all has to come into the big picture. You can't just up and change hours on them when that is not how or what they were hired for. You don't work the hours they do. You get to go enjoy your children, make dinners for them before 8 at night, help them with homework and maybe even watch one of their spoting events, but many of your employees are not able to do that due to the hours that you are starting to inflict on them. Doing that in an overnight decision will cause an uproar. Even if they go with the flow for now it won't be for long and you will lose many good workers. But it's all ok...Everyone is replaceable!

What I like about the company

I like the fact that they say they are here to help people.

What I dislike about the company

I don't like the fact that they really are losing focus on what they are really there for. To help the people. I don't like the fact that they are trying to shove in more patients in provider time that is not there. I don't like the fact that they are only looking for the $ and not fully take care of the patient the way they need to be taken care of. I don't like the fact that the morals and values changed with new management. (and not for the good). I don't like the fact that one part of management is the only one who makes the choices and the decisions without discussion about it for the people who are actually seeing the clients. I don't like the fact that I was suppose to be here to help people, to treat them with dignity and respect and to do my job to the best of my ability and that this place has made it almost impossible to treat these patients accordingly due to time restrictions and them focusing on encounters and our time on the clock. I don't like the fact that after many years of being to work on time every day, never missing a day, very rarely sick, very dependable, giving it my all while I was there, after all that I never recieved a raise, never recieved any acknowledgement for going above and beyond. Nothing! It upsets me to see that a place that was made to help people in need is not what it was suppose to be anymore. Unfortunately, I will miss the clients I worked for and the employees I worked with. Everyone is replaceable. Even me!
