Support from management
Current leadership is very poor in this area. Employees do not have input. Expectations are impossible to meet.
Attitude towards older colleagues
There is a lack if appreciation for experienced senior workers. Experienced workers are driven out.
There are numerous training opportunities but no time to participate in them.
Overall compensation for your work
Salaries are poor but the benefits are pretty good. Some lower level positions are not eligible for pay increases. Reimbursement for travel is very slow.
Office / Work Environment
Computers and software are way out of date. Offices are run down and poorly maintained. Work areas are noisy with numerous distractions and interruptions. Feild work is dangerous.
Very poor image within and without the company.
There is a good amount of uncertainty. Frequent restructuring.
They say they make accommodations but there do not seem to be any employees that require them.
Suggestions for improvement
- Increase pay and incentives in order to hire more skilled workers. Hiring and retention should be a higher priority.
What I like about the company
The benefits are good.
What I dislike about the company
Current upper management is increasing work while removing resources. Money is being wasted in certain areas to make management look better. Decisions are being made that hinder the family reunification process and are not in the best interest of Child safety.
