Suggestions for improvement
- Barnes and Noble as a company is so overly focused on getting projects done in the stores that the people are just numbers, running around trying to finish said projects while not always giving customers the attention they deserve
I like about the employer
The bookstore atmosphere. The main reason I wanted to work at Barnes and Noble was because I love books and bookstores.

The last thing you are expected to sell as a Bookseller is books. There is constant pressure to sell the B&N credit card, B&N memberships, capture emails and sell promotional items (which may or may not be books). After all that, if the customer is still there, you can try to sell books.
