Most of the time we were expected to figure out the best plan for putting away products. Management would come out and help if asked.

Towards the end of my time there new hires who were younger and not tasked with as much responsibility were being paid higher wages. When I asked to be compensated at near the same rate I was told it was not going to happen even though I had more experience and product knowledge.
