Like a lot of companies they want you to feel like your valued but the culture is to ignore your opinions and not keep you informed.
Support from management
They hired all the rejects that Wells Fargo threw out when the merged with Wachovia. Some of the most arrogant and unprofessional managers I've ever had to work with. The Lending Group was just as bad if not worse.
No training unless it is absolutely needed and in my job I'm the red-headed stepchild. I'm a systems administrator and have never been to a class relating to the systems and software that I support.
Overall compensation for your work
Raises are horrendous.
I worked 60 to 70 hours a week for a month and a half with one day off. Afterwards in my review I was told I was put in for a promotion that I might or might not get but probably would. I told them to shove it and the raise with it. I no longer work hard for them. My health and private life now take precedence over them.
Suggestions for improvement
- Get rid of the good ole boy mentality and start listening to your employees...maybe you wouldn't have had the disaster you had recently with your mainframe crashing.
What I like about the company
There are a lot of regular employees who will go out of their way to help you but they're becoming harder to find.
What I dislike about the company
They lied about vacation time. You're forced to go back to two weeks. They lied about receiving stock options...got them once and then they took then away.
