Despite poor leadership and teamwork, many of the employees have worked at the company for over a decade and more than 2 decades in many cases. This has fostered a culture within that is somewhat familial. The employees are not as happy as they once were now that they are under the ownership of corporate america. If there were strong leadership and leaders that recognized its workers, their culture would be excellent.
Support from Management
Leadership is weak at best. Two GM's in the past 5 months. Management is indecisive as to the direction they want to take the company. Leadership is unable to make decisions and stick with them. Micromanagement is the theme in the company. Sales personnel are required to meet revenue obligations but leadership requires more and more reporting and analysis. Leadership has been unable to direct the company in a positive direction.
