Position Management/executive staff
In my experience, the BCBSAZ Advantage culture promotes much idle gossip (on which management often acts), and an "every man for himself" environment.
Support from Management
Goals in some departments were not realistic, yet despite reasonable justification as to why this was so, decisions were often based on desire as opposed to logic. Goals also changed quite frequently. Employees were rarely involved in the decision-making process, even when it focused on their specific responsibilities or impacted them in a very direct way. On those rare occasions when employees were included, feedback was often dismissed. There was some support in management, but it was almost non-existent at top levels of the leadership.
