Support from management
Some managers actually care, but they're so weighted down by the others that don't
You fellow employees might try to help but the system isn't really set up for that due to management
Freedom to work independently
Literally every thing you do they watch
For a Communications company NOTHING is shared internally.
Some men or women get a head by flirting or sucking up, but other then that it's not the worst
Attitude towards older colleagues
I've been left in the dark so many times because some didn't want to spend 3 seconds filling me in.
They have a tier two position that you'll never get because its taken up by the people that have been there for 13 years and will never get to go up any farther.
Overall compensation for your work
Oh you'll be way under paid here. And if you call off a day you're not entitled to a raise for whole year
Office / Work Environment
It's clean, Good luck getting any of the "Free" coffee though.
They'll make you work days on week night the next and all over the pace in between.
It looks way better then it is
HA! People get fired almost every day due to not sucking up or going over but 3 seconds on break. Yeah they track it that closely
For a place where everyone sitting in a desk their were a lot of work place accidents
I would say yes if you cared about tracking trucks of catsups or telling people how to use the right click on a mouse.
Suggestions for improvement
- Go out a business and let a company that also does what you do do it.
What I like about the company
The people we're mostly nice, just very clicky, Reminded me of high school
What I dislike about the company
My number 1 dislike is the senior supervisor Kat. She's had relations with half the people in that building and every time THEY get fired. I They'd have a good staff if she just got the boot instead. Sucking up to her is 90% of the job. But she has so much pull you're fired if you say yes or no so it's your call on that one
