The "that's the way we've always done it" mentality doesn't work for today.
There is still a group of folks within the organization that works very well together.
Level of Autonomy
Mostly it's seeing how many bodies they can throw at a fire.
This depends on who you talk to and whether or not it's their project.
"Needs of the business" are stressed. The amount of field technicians have been cut to a minimum and most ore overworked while the company continues to add upper level executives. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians.
