Suggestions for improvement
- I would change rules on disciplining staff that don't show up for their scheduled shifts. Many staff in the CNA role don't come to work and see no repercussions due to their personal situations. While the ones who have to work on other units in their absence are not placed where they're best utilized.
What I like about the company
Bellin psychiatric shows it's staff their value in a number of ways throughout the year. There are many opportunities to be recognized for your good work and see the difference staff make in the lives of our patients.
What I dislike about the company
Bellin psychiatric Center could make it a safer environment to house more physically dangerous and violent patients. The doors are not the most secure and policies have not been made or are not in place to make it easy for staff to make the changes needed for those working on the actual dangerous units.
