Honesty and trust is very poor. Being an example to your team first hand would be a start.
Support from management
The Management Team does not set the example for professionalism in the office.
One plays employees against each other and does not promote team work. The other manager micromanages every moment of the day. Both put the responsibilities of their work onto others without the complete training and mentoring that should go into growing a positive atmosphere.
Attitude towards older colleagues
Only if you are family related.
Overall compensation for your work
The pay is satisfactory, the expectations however are ridiculous.
The owners do not believe in vacation pay for their employees.
Office / Work Environment
It is cold, employees constantly having to run space heaters to keep warm.
Mandatory meetings expected, but without pay. Both during lunch breaks and after hours.
Will continually set employees up for failure to gain self worth.
Suggestions for improvement
- The owners should just be "owners". Hire someone to do the "managing" and administrative employees would stay longer.
What I like about the company
The Payroll Department is successful, educated and treats others respectfully.
What I dislike about the company
Two managers that do not communicate with each other and have two very different styles of managing, or tries to manage.
