Suggestions for improvement
- Although the service offerings are competative and do offer a valid service to some, it is my firm beleif that these offerings could me more competative and more benificial to the consumer than the retail chain that is selling them. In regards to pay, the hiring managers should be more adept to the employees that they are hiring and try to get a better understanding of what they are actually getting when hiring "agents" to work for the geek squad as well as other employees in general so that they can better evaluate what an employee is worth and be more completative in order to keep their employees. Within a year of me resigning from the geek squad all but one of my coworkers out of ~10 had left.
It is my sincere hope that this review helps to enlighten any potential Best Buy employee to hold out for what they are worth and what they are getting into.
What I like about the company
I liked that as a Besty Buy (Geek Squad) employee I did on rare occasion have the oppertunity to offer helpful advice and help people to save money or purchase hardware or services that suited their needs.
