The engineering department had a culture of finger-pointing and laying blame, contributing to an atmosphere is distrust.
There was a strong dislike between scientists & engineers at this company.
Conditions were clean and safe, but crammed. The CEO believed that stuffing as many people into a room as possible would improve collaboration.
Some firings happened which may have been related to an impending corporate buyout by BioMerieux.
