Company Culture

Poor

Support from management

Leadership is NOT present. Often the only real supervision is that of the timeclock. When Manager, Supervisor and Systems Admin are present they are nearly party planning or micro managing processes which they have no current knowledge to support.

Teamwork

Teamwork isn't possible when Manager pits employees against each other.

Internal Communication

No communication flows down from management.

Gender Equality

If your a good friend of Manager you will be treated great.

Attitude towards older colleagues

They love older computer illiterate population.

Overall compensation for your work

Pay is a bit higher than at other local hospital systems. Health insurance is expensive and coverage is much worse than at other area hospitals. Benefits are cut every year. Raises are less than 1%.

Office / Work Environment

Overtime is mandatory. Office space is not clean and even had a rat in the office.

Work-Life Balance

If you take a vacation day, you are still required to work OT to make up your sick or vacation time.

Suggestions for improvement

  • Bring CVO back to hospitals or back with Managed Care.

What I like about the company

Great discount at Sherwin Williams and Cardinals Day.

What I dislike about the company

Mismanaged by CVO Supervisor and Manager. Upper management is not present to see how things really run off campus.
