What supervisors not on my shift, I went to them and nothing was ever solved Favoritism and who you know is what counts in that organization. Even when the residents are getting neglected it did not matter as long as someone on shift. Once again not every supervisor in organization. I worked in two homes that were horribly ran.
Never, there was never team work, not in the last home I worked in I can't say that about every home but majority there is mostly deadbeats who just want to collect a pay
The ones who are favored and promoted talk good about company but the hard workers who were thrown under the bus will tell the truth about this company. Not so much about favoritism but how people were not taken care like they should have been.
They will continue to go on because only place around for disabled. If you speak too much about the neglect you will get thrown under the bus
I know for myself that I tried to make a difference for the people that I served. I walked away knowing I did as much as I could to make sure the people I served were taken care of despite obstacles.
Suggestions for improvement
- Promote people who will make a difference, not because they are friends or know someone. Get rid of people who don't want to do their jobs that is neglect for people there. Communicate and listen to workers who are for the best interest of the people we serve. Improve some of the homes conditions. Clean them up, get rid of bed bugs stop being cheap on treatment of the bed bugs. Don't get rid of people who care and keep the dead beats who are there for only a paycheck. Check employees before hiring them. When there is theft in workplace, try to figure out how to stop it. People who live there should not be robbed.

What I dislike about the company
Poor management. Do not get ahead unless you are a favorite, or brown noser. (not talking about everyone but many) A good worker that is dependable and caring is overlooked and used to burn out No team work not that I seen in the 2 years there. Always short on people so getting off is hard.
