Blizzard is truly a awesome company to work for if you're into their games like Starcraft or Warcraft. It was enjoyable!

What I like

Blizzard is a amazing company to work for if you have a passion for gaming! If you're interested in creating and designing high quality computer games then Blizzard would be the perfect company for you! However, women don't get promoted easily in this company.

What I dislike

They rarely promote women or they hire hot women who're not qualified to work there. It's very sickening by the way they treat women. The women and men don't get equal paychecks.

Suggestions for improvement

I wish they would treat women better because they get paid less for doing the same job as a guy.

Company Culture

They are all very creative people who share my love of gaming

What I like

I love every single day that I work. The management is fair and down to earth. The other employees are fantastic as well; like one big family. Working for this company feels more like play than actual work, which maintains a positive and energetic work environment. Paid time off is great. It is very much like a dream job each and every day. I have never before worked at a company that didn't attempt to micromanage its employees constantly. This company, however, doesn't do that at all, they appreciate your input and show their appreciation on a regular basis. They also understand the advantages of recognizing employee excellence, and rewarding employees for their excellence. I've never been patted on the back or given kudos by previous employers so much as I do with Blizzard Entertainment. It's actually mind boggling sometimes. So much so, that I almost need to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming. I highly recommend this laid back and friendly work environment. If you love making new friends and having a blast every single day, then Blizzard Entertainment is the company to work for. Also, job security is a lockdown, and there are always lots of chances for advancement. I don't feel stuck or trapped like I have with previous employers or companies. With Blizzard Entertainment, I feel like I have the freedom to be myself and express myself without being criticized or belittled. Check this company out, you'll thank yourself if you do, and you'll never regret it, they're amazing!

What I dislike

It's difficult to think of anything that would be critical of this company, even in the constructive sense. They're very good about listening to employee concerns and addressing those concerns to make things equal all across the board. I suppose I could always say it would be nice to make a larger salary, but even in that regard, the salaries offered by Blizzard Entertainment are really good, and at worst, fair.

Suggestions for improvement

It would be nice to have more insight into upcoming releases with regards to gaming. I'm not sure if that would really be an improvement, but often times employees are left in the dark when it comes to that stuff. Part of that is suspense for the big reveal, but it seems at other times to be due to lack of communication. So I suppose communication about upcoming events would be something the company could work towards improving.

What I like

Its fun to read about what the players want in the games that we make and to try to implement them into the games so that our customers can gain more satisfaction out of the product we produce at Blizzard.

What I dislike

Sometimes we make certain aspects of games to the point of where if you're playing the game it feels either broken or that we should fix it immediately.

Suggestions for improvement

I dont really feel that there should be any improvements at Blizzard other than let the players make their own content so that we can implement it in the games we make along with the stuff we make.
