You do not want to work for this company, entirely too much work and stress for the pay.
This used to be a good company, but it has gotten really bad.
Support from management
About the only support we get from management is them telling us to go see a peer for assistance. Upper management does not know the job that they are supervisors over.
There is little support from upper management, especially with all the changes (layoffs).
Freedom to work independently
Constantly, monitors staff.
They are constantly sending out emails about our poor progress. Too much work work for so few employees.
They basically treat women the same as there are more women in the office then men.
Attitude towards older colleagues
There is no opportunity for advancement within the company, especially for those over the age of 45.
There is no way to move up in the company, unless you are in good with upper management.
Overall compensation for your work
For working in an insurance company one would think that there would be better benefits, especially lower deductible and cap.
Office / Work Environment
The temperature is either too hot or too cold, there is no consistency in temperature, from one side of the building to the other.
They do have shredding cans available, mostly because of the personal information on the documents.
Over time is demanded every night and saturday.
Not at all, they have done too many things that are illegal and underhanded.
None of our positions are stable, they could lay us off at a whim.
There is handicapped parking available for those with disabilities.
This is one of the few things that are right with this company.
They have piled on the work, so much that employees are stressed out during the course of the day.
Inclusive / Diverse
We are not able to express our opinions, without the fear of being fired.
Suggestions for improvement
- The upper management should all be replaced, and the division realigned with regard to pay scale, job duties, as well as retraining of personnel that do not know how to do their job properly. Each division should have control over one contract instead of
What I like about the company
When I started with them, the culture was one of an extended family. Team meetings were held, and teams got together after work. Managers worked with you if there was a personal issue. The company as a whole was good, with various fun dress down days, cus
What I dislike about the company
The company has had several layoffs over the past year, moral is down, upper management is demanding a lot out of the few employees that have not been laid off. Lunches were an hour long, now they have been cut back to 30 min, constant monitoring of phone
