Attitude towards older colleagues
They will replace older workers with less expensive younger ones. They do it all the time.
Orangizational restructiong happening all the time. It's tuff on employees when you are assigned a new boss who doesn't know you, your capabilities, your worth to the company.
Suggestions for improvement
- Not sure how to tell managers that older workers are assets. Management should consider asking older workers to take pay cuts instead of being given 60 day notices. We older would take the pay cuts to help the company out.
