Suggestions for improvement
- Develop a test for critical thinking skills and do not let a person be a manager or an engineer unless they pass this test. Get rid of the present performance management system as it is meaningless. Have peer review where leads and managers are reviewed by peers and subordinates. Have MRB audits performed where a variety of people perform the audit and do not know who they are doing the audit on so that incompetent engineers do not continue as MRB engineers that are completely incompetent and only receiving pass after pass because of the beyond junior high politics popularity contests that have zero to do with really being competent. Make managers do a SMART format PM as recommended. I never had a PM that had anything to do with the recommended SMART format my entire time at Boeing. 3 of my 4 managers bashed me but when asked for examples, they could/would not provide any. Pathetic in reality.
I like about the employer
Benefits and compensation. However, at the end of 2018 the pension accumulates no more and new hires do not get the pension at all.
