Are you a Current or Former Employee? Former job since 2015
Support from Management
If you see n management, the company expects your lfe to revolve around them. The company does not care how they use and abuse their employees. You are promised to work only 50 hours a week unless absolutely needed. If anything is wrong in the store at all they expect all the managers to work six and seven days a week for months on end until these problems are solved. The problems, however, are not real problems. They are problems that cause your district manager, or Area Director as they call it, any of the bonus they get. Oh by the way, these issues do not effect anybody else's bonuses but theirs. As a manager do not expect to get a break during your ten hour shift; if you are lucky enough to only work ten hour days. It was a good company at one time, but that has long since past. Employees that have been with the company for 20+ years are leaving because how they have been treated. You figure out how good the company is to work for.
Suggestions for improvement
- Quit over working, under paying, and treating employees as they don't matter. Remember your business cannot run without employees in the store, and training numerous employees every week to replace the ones you have lost is an expensive undertaking. Also, just because you replace an employee with another one doesn't mean you haven't lost in the situation. The store I worked in lost every good and hardworking employee, and they were replaced with employees that were practically useless.
