I was expected to work overtime every day, for three years, and when I would leave on time (you know, because I have a life and all), the next day, I would get a visit from the Production Manager, accused of not being a "team player", and routinely threatened with termination. When my wife (who is blind and has a kidney transplant) needed to go to the hospital, I called off to take her. Every half hour, I received calls from the Production Manager asking when I would be coming in. I had scheduled vacation three months in advance in order to get married. I asked for a Thursday (to drive to meet my bride at her parents home), Friday (to get married), and the weekend for honeymoon. Before I left on Wednesday, the Production Manager claimed he never knew I had scheduled vacation, and THREATENED TO FORCE ME TO BE AT WORK ON SATURDAY, EFFECTIVELY CANCELLING OUR HONEYMOON!
