they make you think that coming to work for them-that you will grow and move up. Not so much the case, they have their own agendas of who should be promoted and who should not.
Support from management
unrealistic goals and deadlines, no support from upper level of management - almost similar to slave labor
teamwork only happens between managers that want to work together
Freedom to work independently
is encouraged until upper management changes their minds within hours of making the first decisions
Upper management in the region do not inform other managers of upcoming things that would affect their jobs.
needs work-too many "old white boys club managers" still in roles that don't respect diversity
Attitude towards older colleagues
i have seen older managers "pushed" out of their roles - until they quit.
that's a joke!
Overall compensation for your work
hours were just bad 60-72 hours a week
Office / Work Environment
food service inherently has the worst office space to do the job expected.
Was good in the beginning, but expected to work as a salaried manager for a minimum of 60 hours per week, but they will tell you 50 hours per week with 2 days off in succession
upper management often threatens field managers to do "what we say" or "leave your keys on the table"
Inclusive / Diverse
the company is pro-white male. Very few women, African Americans, LGBT that move up to upper management
Suggestions for improvement
- get rid of the CLEVELAND OHIO district manager - has no people skills, no management skills, has already proven to his superiors that he cannot manage all of his accounts. Has cost the company $1000's because he doesn't have the knowledge to oversee what accounts he has.
What I like about the company
in the beginning - everything, when i left - they are just like every other company - get them in, burn them up, and spit them out! The Ohio division has no regard for people's lives or desires to move up within the company
What I dislike about the company
Specifically i could give you a list of names-these are people who are in the Cleveland Ohio region and have constantly berated people i know that have also left the company.
