Suggestions for improvement
- Ultimately, the problems with availability and staffing occur because of our freedom to be scheduled whenever we want to be, and I wouldn't trade that convenience for anything. However, I think increasing base pay for employees (or even providing incentive bonuses) would go a long way towards ensuring people would be available.
What I like about the company
This company has been a stable source of income and employment over the past two years. The way they make my schedule is entirely dependent on my availability, meaning I never feel that I am being asked to work too much or too little. While the pay isn't great and the training is sometimes lacking, I overall love my supervisory team and there's plenty of room for advancement.
What I dislike about the company
It's hard to get everyone in for training because people work such differing schedules. It's hard to work events where we are understaffed because they're scheduled at times where not a lot of us are available. And it's really unfortunate that we aren't paid more, because I think this would offer incentive to come in more often.
