Support from management
Corporate sets sales plan figures so far out of reach not even the best selling store can achieve. Communication is disorganized in relaying clear, correct and balanced figures to management.
Communication in emails is not clear and often misleading. Management has to make executive decisions on a daily basis in order to operate store until corporate figures out what they want to do.
Overall compensation for your work
Compensation is non existent for this company. No reviews or raises in many years, but corporate says company has been profitable and continues to gain.
Under old ownership, yes I loved working in company. When new ownership took over the issues with unhappy clientele about stock and new manufacturing changes have brought the companies loyalty level to almost non existent.
Company under current ownership is unstable and unwilling to listen to advisory panels.
Age demographics for company are 40-90+, yet corporate ignores customer needs with walkers and electric carts. Suggestions have been made to relocate stores closer to parking lots so clients don't have to go so far, but all have been ignored.
Suggestions for improvement
- Listen to managements requests and clients needs. Get store requested stock in a timely manner.
What I like about the company
Open communication between other managers.
What I dislike about the company
Disorganized communication, pay freeze in effect, lousy insurance.
