We adhere to the highest standards of business ethics and integrity. We’re proud to have been one of the first organizations in the U.S. to adopt a formal statement of business ethics.

The origins of our commitment to culture and ethics trace back to the 1930s, when Carl Hamilton wrote the firm’s first formal code of ethics. By codifying our commitment to integrity and values, he set the course for the firm’s focus on culture and ethics that is growing stronger today.

We're committed to the highest standards of business ethics and integrity. In addition to our board-level Ethics and Compliance Committee, we have also established an Ethics and Business Integrity Office, a corporate-level function to coordinate the firm's ethics and compliance program. With board-level oversight by the Audit Committee, our ethics program governance bodies promote our values, protect the firm, and ensure that employees who have concerns can effectively report them.

We hold all of our employees accountable for ethical behavior established by a common code of business ethics and compliance known as our Green Book. And we partner with organizations that are committed to ethical behavior as governed by our Partner in Ethics program.

Our values are not simply statements of principle or aspirations for what we endeavor to achieve—they are bonds that connect us in everything we do.

Work-Life Balance

Work life balance is pretty good until we started preparing for a release.

What I like about the company

I enjoyed the work environment and the culture of the office. The office I worked in is not what you would think when you think about working for Booz. I was a software developer and the office really was a software shop that you would associate more with a Google or Amazon location. It had a wide open flood plans and team spaces with multiple sitting areas both inside and outside of the team areas.

I would like to add however that this was specific to only this location.

Company Image

Branding is what makes BAH so attractive to potential employees, but the truth is that the turner-rate is high, b/c the culture is bad & so are the mgrs who don't care.

Job security

Depends on the length of the gov't contract. If it's 12-18mo, that's how long your career is until YOU find another "project". Employees have 30 days to find work w/in the company.

Handicap Accessibility

Good for ppl in wheelchairs, but the bathroom doors slam quickly behind you.

Company culture

Lots of problems in the culture: mgr told others about a subordinate, mentioned him by name & his medical problems. Project lead forces us to talk with him constantly on the phone for hours at a time, even after work. Career mgr doesn't know the difference between verbal abuse & personality conflict, real air-head. 1 person in our team will not adhere to customer requirements & does whatever he wants w/ no consequences.

Level of Autonomy

Trusted-no. Project lead reminds us constantly that we need to be @ our computers with Slack & Skype on all of the time.
