Support from management
Management attitude "DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO"
No real leadership. Managers only care about the numbers and the money. Your opinion means nothing.
Motto of BMC "NOT MY JOB"
If it's not in their job descriptions believe me no one is going to lend a helping hand.
Suggestions for improvement
- I would suggest management start listening a little more to their employee's. You can complain and make suggestions but your opinion is never valued. Stop focusing so much on the money and put a little more into the value of the patient. Start communication a little more with your staff. Everyone in the department should be on the same page and know the same information, otherwise you look completely unorganized and unprofessional when dealing with patients or outside facilities.
