Upper management and ownership looks at most employees as taking money from their own pockets and don't show any interest in getting to know their employees.
Freedom to work independently
One area they excel at is letting you do your job as long as you get it done and get it done the way they want. They don't tolerate hand holding and prefer employees who are take charge and can produce results.
Overall compensation for your work
Health insurance was great and they provided a match for 401k but overall compensation package is generally 20-30% below industry average.
They don't allow you to use partial vacation or personal days. If you need to take time off to go to a doctor or pick up a sick kid, you need to use the whole day.
Constantly violating OSHA regulations, and they are currently being sued by tenants for not following proper lead disclosures and remediation procedures. Frequently hire the lowest possible contractor regardless of licensure or qualifications
