Support from management
Leaders only want to hear positive feedback, if you have constructive critisism you are a "bad apple" and will get freed up to find your new future.
Team work is important because the only reason I was able to work at Braidwood was because I did have great co-workers.
Freedom to work independently
Leadership will not allow for this.. their style of leading is more of a dictatorship.
Employees attend a weekly all staff meeting and sometimes relevant information is shared. Usually the time is spent listening to the CEO's political and right wing conservative views.
This is a company full of women leaders but none of them are given the opportunity to voice their real oppinions and if they do happen to pipe up they are taken down a notch in front of the entire leadership team without any respect.
Attitude towards older colleagues
There are a few long term employees at Braidwood. The nice lady who greets the guest, a nice old lady in the front office area and another nice lady in the finance department. Overall they are treated with respect.
Overall compensation for your work
I was always pain on-time but always wondered if I was on a sinking ship.
Office / Work Environment
Thank goodness the IT department was given a few $$ to spend while they had a fraud running the department. This allowed the trained IT staff to actuallly get some real work done.
The only acceptable social awareness in this work place is anti-gay speeches and anything that seems to be hate towards the LGBT community.
Family first is a priority and it's understood as long as you are using your PTO and not flexing any work time.
Employees speak very fondly about the company in front of leadership.. Otherwise, no. If someone has a real oppinion you are warned not to share "or else".
Every quarter to increase the bottom line prices are raised and in turn it makes it harder to get people in the doors. They should look at money going out the door vs different ways to nickel and dime the guest.
No elevators, the few male employees that do work there have been asked to carry the disabled guest up and down stairs to the doctors offices. Thank goodness the Pharmacy and Vitamin Store has (had) those few strong male staff members.
Yes, the workplace is free of most accidents but I would not say they are up to OSHA standards. At any time a remodel can happen and the place can be ripped inside out over the weekend without notice.
Inclusive / Diverse
Never, their way or the highway. If you disagree with their thoughts you will soon find yourself in the unemployment line.

I do like that Braidwood Management Inc (Hotze Health and Wellness Center) offers their guest non-tradional healthcare.

Braidwood Management Inc (Hotze Health and Wellness Center) doesn't not give their employees the right to voice their own oppinions. They also allow the leadership to preach their political views on everyone.
